The 2nd Sodaidori Festival was held!

The 2nd Sodaidori Festival sponsored by Sodaidori Shoeikai, was held on last Sunday,Ocober 8th.

This is an outdoor event that takes advantage of the pedestrian mall on Sodaidori St. in Waseda Tsurumakicho, Shinjuku Ward.

The weather is not good but we managed to hold out until the end.

There were dance events, food events and MOTTAINAI market. And there were fire engines display (mini fire engine, commemorative photo taken with children wearing firefighting uniforms),

Tsurumaki Library’s book recycling booth (free provision of discarded books).

There were many visitors came and enjoyed the events.

We would like to express my gratitude to all the neighbors, the police and other related parties for their great cooperation and understanding in holding the festival.We also would like to thank Tsurumaki Elementary School for lending us chairs for the dance event.

Mr.Shirai, who is the chief manager of this festival says ,“We worried about the weather, but we were able to make it a great success, so thank you very much.” Leading up to the day of the event, various arrangements were made, posts on SNS, etc. I would like to once again thank all the staff, the Tsurumaki 4 neighborhood associations, Tsurumaki Elementary School, and Waseda University Festival management staff for their support behind the scenes.”
